HamSCI at Hamvention 2017

Overview

HamSCI will be present at the 2019 Dayton Hamvention in order to further its goal of connecting the ham radio and scientific communities. Support for the 2018 HamSCI Hamvention activities comes from the  New Jersey Institute of Technology Center for Solar-Terrestrial Research, the Yasme Foundation, the National Science Foundation, and volunteers like you. This year, HamSCI will again host a booth in the "Ham Radio 2.0: Innovation and Discovery" row, host booth talks, demos, and the HamSCI Forum. To help out, please sign up to volunteer at the booth or offer to give a booth talk.

Booth Volunteering

Please use sign up to volunteer at the booth using the SignUp.com. As a volunteer, we ask that you stand at the HamSCI booth and talk to booth vistors about HamSCI and your specific research interests. Feel free to bring demonstation items and materials and to talk about what you know best. The goal of HamSCI is to connect ham radio with scientific research. So, any topic that supports this goal is a good topic to talk about. The booth uniform are HamSCI labcoats, which can be purchased below. For questions regarding booth volunteering, please e-mail Bill Liles NQ6Z at lilesw@gmail.com and George Lemaster WB5OYP at lemaster@verizon.net.
